We are seeking an experienced Packaging Production Manager to lead packaging operations and light manufacturing processes while ensuring quality compliance, operational efficiency, and effective resource management across multiple production lines.
This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards for our customers and supporting overall production control objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage headcount, throughput, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and material flow across light manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Oversee daily packaging activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Lead, schedule, and develop production teams to meet performance and production goals.
- Allocate resources effectively to support operational demands and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications include:
- Proven experience in packaging operations, light manufacturing, and/or production management.
- Strong working knowledge of OEE, material flow, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective team leader with the ability to motivate and engage employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
