Quality Technician (2nd Shift)

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician (2nd Shift) in the Charlotte, NC area. The normal shift for this position is Monday–Thursday, 5:30 pm – 4:00 am and overtime as needed.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician (2nd Shift) to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. In this critical position, you will be responsible for accurately inspecting, assessing, and reporting production output to ensure finished products meet the company’s high-quality standards. Your work will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting overall operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collect and inspect product at defined intervals to ensure quality.
  • Verify that all raw materials are correct and match the Setup Sheets.
  • Follow general inspection guidelines to perform visual, quantitative, and functional testing on all types of products in accordance with the product standard manual.
  • Conduct line testing on downstream line equipment including labelers, capper, and heat sealer.
  • Make sound decisions regarding the acceptance of product, based on written procedures and established limit samples.
  • Accurately document all inspection and test results in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Hold and disposition product based on the results of quality testing.
  • Ensure that all test equipment has a current calibration sticker.
  • Work effectively with all departments to meet and exceed internal and external expectations.
  • Ensure that coders are accurate on the lines.
  • Print all necessary paperwork, labels, etc. for production lines.

Qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 6 months of Quality work experience in a manufacturing company required.
  • Must be able to multi-task, follow instructions, and work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in an environment with hot and cold temperatures and changing noise levels.
  • Must be able to work in an environment that manufactures chemicals.
