We are currently seeking a Quality Lab Technician (2nd Shift) in the Charlotte, NC area. The normal shift for this position is Monday-Thursday, 5:30 pm – 4:00am and overtime as needed.

Are you detail‑driven, analytical, and passionate about quality? We’re looking for a Quality Lab Technician (2nd Shift) to play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. In this hands‑on position, you’ll conduct laboratory testing, perform inspections, analyze data, and help drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include:
- Ensure product integrity by following company policies, quality system procedures, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Perform laboratory testing and visual inspections to verify products meet specifications
- Test raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products to customer and internal requirements
- Conduct chemical testing such as concentration analysis, specific gravity, and titration
- Verify raw materials and formulas against setup and batch sheets
- Create, maintain, and update formulas, batch sheets, and quality documentation
- Accurately record test results, procedures, and findings on standardized forms
- Organize, label, store, and ship product samples, ensuring safety and sample integrity
- Analyze data and prepare clear, concise reports for management review
- Support R&D efforts related to formulations, processes, quality, and manufacturing
- Maintain RO water testing and documentation
- Develop and maintain quality assurance test methods and records
- Maintain lab equipment, calibration logs, work logs, and equipment records
- Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support daily operations
- Identify and report nonconformance issues and safety concerns
- Take on additional responsibilities to support quality and manufacturing initiatives
Qualifications include:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures precisely while managing multiple priorities
- Strong time management skills with a proactive mindset
- Solid math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable with computer data entry and documentation
- Two or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast‑paced setting
- Fast‑paced, hands‑on environment with both lab and manufacturing floor exposure
- Work may extend across offices, labs, meeting areas, and production spaces (including stairs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with varying noise levels
- Comfortable working in an environment that manufactures chemicals
