We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) in the Charlotte, NC area. The normal shift for this position is Monday-Thursday, 5:30 pm – 4:00am and overtime as needed.

As a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift), you’ll be a critical part of our operations team—maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing our facility and manufacturing equipment. Your hands‑on work in preventive and corrective maintenance will drive increased uptime and reliability, directly supporting our production targets and quality standards. This is an opportunity to make a real impact every shift by keeping our operation strong, efficient, and moving forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Maintains, inspects, operates, and repairs of compressed air systems.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Performs welding, fabrication, and pipe fitting on an as needed basis.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service and parts orders.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive & predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of electrical A/C and D/C circuits, control circuits and PLC’s.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Maintains and repairs of mixing equipment, transfer pumps and piping system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Contribute to continuous plant improvements.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience of repair/maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with technology maintenance required
- Strong critical thinking, creative skills, and strong written communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized, and excellent documentation skills
- Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Must be able and willing to work in confined spaces, around chemicals, and heights
